Off we go!

Well I suppose it's 2010 and high time I catch up with the rest of the world in blogging. I have made a few previous attempts to blog as a means of ranting about this or that but that was relegated to Myspace so I count this as my first real BLOG.

I created this blog as a way to keep all of you up to date as to my travels here in the near future. If you are reading this you probably are aware that I'm heading to Jordan to work with an NGO for the next three months and as such should have some pretty interesting experiences. Hopefully this blog will provide a medium to share my experiences over there and beyond with many of you alleviating the need to craft a series of emails that end up being repetitive.

Right now I'm spending some time in Texas enjoying hanging out with my family, brushing up on my Arabic, doing my best to network into a job for when I get back, and of course enjoying the AWESOME singles scene here (read incredible amount of sarcasm). I just gotta say the pickins are quite slim out here in the Lone Star State so that's a bit depressing. Oh well I'm sure I'll come back from Jordan thinking it's amazing here relatively speaking so go figure.

Point being if any of you have a JOB or a GIRL for me for when I get back then hook it up... I can provide further criteria for both if necessary!
